AutoMeasure reads the scale off the sheet, traces each room and names it, and finds the doors. You tick each one before it counts, so the numbers are yours.

Walls, ceilings and boards

Set the ceiling height and board for each room, and the square metres add up as you go. The boards include 10 and 13 mm plasterboard and 6 and 9 mm villaboard; water resistant, fire resistant and acoustic board; and flexible board. Flat or raked ceilings, with cornice, square set or shadowline.

Take it to the supplier

Download the takeoff as a spreadsheet, room by room. You can also download the plan marked up in colour, with a legend, to send to the builder or your supplier.

Openings taken off for you

Doors, windows and openings come off the wall area. If a wall isn't lined, turn it off.

Count it and run it

Count access panels and downlights, and measure lineal metres of cornice or bead. Save the items you measure on every job as presets.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be good with computers?

If you can open a PDF, you can use PlasterCalc. Upload the plan, tick the floor plans, and check what AutoMeasure found.

What plans does it work with?

PDFs drawn in CAD, the kind the builder or drafter sends you. It can't read scanned or photographed plans, but you can measure those by hand once you've set the scale.

What's a credit?

One credit runs AutoMeasure on one plan sheet. If a sheet can't be read, you get the credit back.

Do I get to start for free?

Yes. You get a 14-day free trial.

Can I cancel?

Any time. There's no lock-in contract.

Is my data safe?
